Vic brings over 30 years experience in INFOSEC/Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, systems & applications engineering, IT operations and management. He conceived, designed and built systems that solved critical needs in US National Security spaces as well as commercial Internet facing infrastructure. He has assembled and managed extraordinary teams of writers, researchers, engineers, and developers. He is a published researcher in INFOSEC/Cyber Security and a trail-blazing expert in intrusion/anomaly detection in complex systems, including cyber/cloud and utility computing.

- Member of the Advisory Board for StratuScape – Advising cyber security product strategy (Silicon Valley startup).
- Chief Technologist for Security – Responsible for all aspects of Cyber Security concept, implementation and operation for Sun Microsystems Internet facing: SunGrid (1$/cpu hr), Network.com and Sun’s Public Cloud.
- Process manager and lead author – All Cyber Security documentation, security policies and operations standards for 3 product releases (anticipated revenue in excess of $100million/annually).
- Technical Representative, Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) – Member of the commission for reforming U.S. information technology export control policy.
- Technical Representative, Steering Committee for the Information Systems Security Board (NSTAC Presidential NII Task Force).
- Visiting Cyber Security Expert – Author of the Information Security policy for the Government of Malaysia.
- Chief Technologist for Security, US Client Solutions – Defined and managed implementation of customer security. These solution sets drove substantial revenue for US sales.
- Lead designer and Program Manager for a Trusted B1 Unix OS.

- Network Intrusion Detection – Conceived and developed the first network-based intrusion detection system which became a product and led to numerous revenue generating contracts.
- Led Security Assessment teams – Performed sensitive security assessments and reports for internal and external customers.
